Samantha Hasselhoff

Samantha is a graduate student in Plant Science, investigating a new disease threating the Strawberry crop production. Working with Dr. Mengjun Hu to understand the pathogen and help Maryland growers minimize both crop and economic impacts, Hasselhoff is conducting field research at the Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station’s Wye Research and Education Center focusing on the disease progression, the timing of chemical application, and how environmental conditions affect the outbreak.
