Lorelly Solano graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Plant Sciences at the University of Costa Rica and has five years experience in the cut-flower industry. Presently attaining a Master of Science degree at the University of Maryland 's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Her research focuses on green roof substrates. Her research studies the potential of crumb rubber as an ammendment for green roof substrates.
