Research:

My research focuses on the systematics of Neonectria (anamorph Cylindrocarpon). Neonectria is a common tropical and temperate genus that includes important pathogens of hardwood trees, such as Neonectria coccinea, Neo. ditissima, Neo. radicicola, among others. I am using morphological and molecular tools to test taxonomic and evolutionary hypothesis.
