Master's student under Dr. Joe Sullivan. He received his B.S. in Natural Resource Management: Flora and Fauna here at UMCP in May 2007.
He is studying ecosystem services as his thesis, specifically carbon storage and sequestration on the local level. He is looking at the loss of carbon storage that is potentially possible in Prince William County Virginia, based on the value of carbon stored in Prince William Forest Park, Virginia.
He is also interested in urban forestry (again, favoring ecosystem services) and bioretention technology, as well as wetland ecology.
