Area of Specialization:
Forest pathology, biology and management of tree diseases; invasive species biology; ecology and taxonomy of Phytophthora.
My Research Program:
My research interest is mainly on pathogen biology, addressing fundamental questions of how pathogens exist, interact and impact the environment. The pathogen group I conduct my studies is Phytophthora, a fungus-like organism. Particular emphasis is paid to forest ecosystems. Learn more
