Area of Specialization:
Dr. Fabiani Giannetto's area of specialization is early modern Italian gardens with emphasis on the Tuscan region. Her research interests include the history of landscape architecture; historiography; and contemporary landscape design. Recently she has been working on the reception of the Italian garden tradition in the late 19th century and early 20th century both in Italy and in the United States.
